Liz Germani has been appointed to the vacant Director at Large position for the remainder of this term, after serving on the 2015 Reunion Committee.
Liz and her family moved to Dhahran in 1973 then relocated to Ras Tanura in 1977 where she graduated from junior high school in 1984.
After college, Liz worked at Aramco Services Company for three years as a Relocation Advisor, using her deep knowledge of "all things Aramco" to help orient hundreds of families to life in Saudi Arabia.
Liz's profession often takes her to many different corners of the world, which suits Liz perfectly. She is an avid traveler but definitely prefers beaches and sunshine. While traveling to foreign lands, Liz always seeks out and samples local, craft beers in search of the perfect IPA, but dry red wine works well, too.
Liz calls Houston home, and she enjoys walking her little, white, rescue dog throughout central Houston's parks and urban venues. She is always up for meeting Brats at new pubs and restaurants throughout the city.
Here are the results of the 2015-2017 Aramco Brats Board of Directors election which were announced at the reunion banquet on May 24th. Thanks to the ease of online voting, we had fantastic participation - 375 (71 mailed, 23 scanned and emailed , 281 electronic)! Thanks to everyone for participating in choosing your elected officers for next term!
Per ABI's bylaws, the winner was determined by simple majority. The election data and results have been reviewed and ratified by Kathy Strickland Rankin, DH 87 and Christy Davidson Cox, DH 87. Full election results and description of voting processes can be viewed here: 2015 Nominations Report.pdf
Questions regarding nominations process or other volunteer opportunities should be directed to Melanie Penoyer.
