Congratulations to Paul Allen (DH ’89) on becoming our new President! Paul is well known to Brats far and wide—if you’ve attended even one reunion, you’ve surely met him. His long-standing commitment to our community speaks for itself, and we’re excited for the enthusiasm and dedication he brings to everything he does.
We also welcome Amber Neal as our new Vice President—after previously serving as Secretary, she brings valuable experience and a fresh perspective to her new role.
Aramco Brats, Inc. welcomes first-time board members:
Michelle Salazar (RT '88) Michelle’s Brat story began in 1980 when she stepped off the plane in Dhahran and was hit with a wave of heat so intense she wasn't sure what to think. That unexpected beginning led to a wonderful childhood in Ras Tanura filled with the crystal clear beach, balmy Gulf breeze, and the Arabic food she still loves today. Now serving as Website Director, Michelle blends creativity and tech savvy to keep our digital home running smoothly. She looks forward to helping Brats stay connected, no matter how far we’ve wandered.
Randa Chicakli (DH '87) My family lived in Saudi Arabia from 1973 to 1995, and I graduated from 9th grade with the Dhahran Class of 1987. After that was Marymount London for boarding school, then University of Texas for an engineering degree. After the Aramco days, I was based in the US and traveled widely for work and fun. 2022 was the start of a new chapter as I retired and moved to Belize to enjoy island life in the Caribbean!
I’ve been going to the Brat Reunions since 1999 and I hope to never miss one. I love everything about the reunions… connecting face-to-face with my childhood friends and meeting new friends that expand my Brat family. I’m so excited to be part of the team continuing the reunion tradition for the Brats!!
